In the Chrudim Puppetry Museum, you will see historical and contemporary, Czech and foreign puppets, but you can also try out how to play puppet theatre in the museum's playroom.
The Regional Museum in Chrudim manages a rich fund of collections in the fields of regional national history, natural sciences, and fine arts. The exhibitions present regional history, handicrafts, folk furniture and posters by the important art nouveau painter Alfons Mucha.

The National Stud Slatiňany has been breeding the Old Kladruby black horse, or Old Kladruby crow, for over 60 years. The Old Cladruby horse is ranked among the Baroque horse breeds, it has Spanish-Nepole origin and was created for ceremonial purposes of the royal courts.
The Bára lookout tower was restored on Čertova skalka (Devil's Rock) at the top of the closed Podhůra quarry south of Chrudim. In June 2008, a few days after its opening, it was destroyed by a strong storm. Compared to the original construction, several strengthening elements were added.
In the south-western part of the Chateau Forest Park there is the Cat's Castle, which is popular among children. It is a miniature of a castle built by Princess Vilemína Auerspergová in the forest behind Slatiňany Park at the end of the nineteenth century.

One of the main attractions is a nearly 83-meter-long toboggan slide, several water slides, water and air massages, water mushrooms, a wild channel, gargoyles, islands, and a water curtain. Apart from the toboggan, all attractions are included in the admission price.
Rabštejnek is a castle ruin from the 14th century. It is known that a number of owners changed here, until in the 16th century it belonged to the town of Chrudim. The castle was empty and began to decay. In 2014, the ruins were bought by three enthusiasts who did not like the fact that it was falling into disrepair and started to repair it. Today, the remains of the walls, towers, bastions, and ramparts have been preserved. Everything is surrounded by trees and bushes.
Pardubice Castle is located on the site of a manor house from the 13th century and a water castle from the 14th century. In the 18th century, the castle acquired its current Baroque appearance, and later it even housed a brewery and a textile manufactory. Today it is owned by the region and has undergone a general reconstruction.
In the northeastern tip of the Iron Mountains Protected Landscape Area, in the south of Slatiňany, a unique lookout tower rises to the sky. It was used as a fire signal tower.

Above Český Lhotice in the Iron Mountains is a 15-meter high lookout tower, opened only a few years ago. Boika, or also Boiika, derives its name from the Boii tribe. It was the people of this tribe who built an oppidum in Hradiště near Nasavrky 2,500 years ago.
From Chrudim to Slatiňany there is an asphalt cycle trail along the Chrudimka River (cycle trail 4112), completely flat, suitable even for small children.
Nature lovers will find Kaštanka in Nasavrky, in the northern part of the Iron Mountains Protected Landscape Area in eastern Bohemia. The natural monument of about 1 hectare is absolutely unique in the Czech Republic: in 1776, Jan Adam Aursperg planted chestnut trees in part of the castle garden, which still grow here today.
In Nasavrky, south of Chrudim, visitors of the northern part of the Iron Mountains Protected Landscape Area can enjoy a historically oriented nature trail that will take them through the remains of the Celtic settlement of the area and the beautiful nature of the Iron Mountains.
